Who We Are

About us

IMM SOIL SDN BHD was incorporated in April 2013 and is a Joint Venture between IMM SA (ISO/IEC 17025 Swiss firm) and SOIL INSTRUMENTS (M) SDN. BHD. (ISO/IEC 17025 Malaysian firm).

 

We are specialized experts in testing and consulting on cementitious materials, concrete structures and rigid and flexible pavements. In April 2016 we achieved our accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 – SAMM No. 767.

Our goal is to provide our clients with a professional and technically sound support in all steps of construction:

Our Team

Our team is comprised by young, motivated though experienced Professional Engineers (civil, materials and corrosion specialists) and Senior Laboratory Technicians merging professional experience from challenging major infrastructure projects in Europe, South America, Africa, Middle East and Asia both from the point of view of the Contractor and the Engineer/Designer.

 

We also can provide a network of professional international consultants in different fields of materials technology granting us a problem solving capability in virtually all fields of materials technology.

 

Our expertise can be therefore highly technical but also highly practical at the same time and with a strongly oriented problem solving attitude in the shortest time possible because in no other field more than construction “time is money”.

Expertise and consulting

  • Service life design of reinforced concrete structure (semi probabilistic and full probabilistic methods such as DURACRETE® and miscellaneous in-house developed methods)
  • Residual service life estimation (semi probabilistic and full probabilistic methods such as HETEK®, LIGTHCON®, DURACRETE® and miscellaneous in house developed methods)
  • Thermo-mechanical numerical modeling of mass concrete (raft foundations, gravity slabs, nuclear plants, dams) for providing maximum acceptable differentials and zones of maximum principal tensile stresses for cracking control and limitation

Rigid and flexible pavements

  • Condition survey of flexible and rigid pavements for both roads and airports
  • Design and re-design (mechanicistic, empiric, FEM according to principal international criteria such as FAA, AASTHO etc.)
